The Wright Way to Build Your Accounting Firm Part Three – Action

Congratulations on completing your business plan. That will be a great roadmap for success. I’m so glad you made it here. Now that you have your plan, you are ready for your first action step.

I stressed the significance of planning in Step Two. Specifically, the preparation required to arrive at your goal. I carefully arranged my trip to Cleveland. It helped me to keep on track and, of course, to get ready for any major challenges.

Now, it’s time to make your plans a reality. Goals, ambitions, and plans are nothing without action.

First, I reviewed my roadmap before booking a flight. I double-checked my flight path. I went over the procedure, which goes from Cebu to the Middle East. It’ll then take me to New York City. Then from there, back home to Cleveland.

You need to pay attention to every detail to ensure that the goal takes place as planned. Business is dynamic. There will be a lot of changes. But, you should be ready to make adjustments. In my case, I clarified my firm’s direction. I revisited my plans before taking my first action.

After reviewing the steps needed to reach my destination, I searched for an airline. The Philippines has a plethora of popular airlines. But I had to choose one that would best complement my trip.

What made my company’s first course of action succeed? My plan included defining my target market. They played a significant role in achieving my goals. There are millions of people out there. I did not focus my time and effort on everyone. My focal point was my target audience. They are my future clients. I needed to learn how to win them. I aimed to let them choose me over the competition.

For my business trip, I considered the amenities of the airlines. Are there any travel classes worth paying for? If so, what makes them stand out from the rest? The same goes in business. I needed to give people a reason to talk to me. I positioned my firm to a spot that will make me different from everyone else. I accomplished this using my Unique Selling Proposition or (USP). I mentioned this in a previous article.

I chose an airline and decided to travel business class. To help me arrive at my goal, I mapped out everything I needed ahead of time. This is the step where I implemented my plans through ACTION. I booked my flight and purchased my ticket. I was confident to pay any amount, as long as it aligned with the things I had outlined.

I followed my business plan with the appropriate action. Some entrepreneurs fail to follow through on their well-thought-out plans. They abruptly lose sight of their desired destination. Maybe, because of the absence of their belief or Applied Faith in their ability to accomplish their objective.

You don’t stop at the “planning” stage. I’m here to tell you that attaining your business dreams is very possible. All it takes is the willingness on your part to give it everything. You started your firm with a burning desire and a clear plan. Deliver it now with action. The next part will help you enable action. This is through the power of Applied Faith.
