HWA is a minority owned and controlled certified public accounting firm located in Independence, Ohio with additional offices in Westerville, Ohio and Cebu City, Philippines. The firm has a staff of twenty-three trained professionals with over 100 years of collective audit experience in the non-profit and governmental sectors as well as small business accounting and tax preparation. Firm Timeline
Wright and Associates CPAs was founded by John R. Wright, CPA on January 1, 1982. Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Wright had been employed as an auditor and business consultant at Ernst & Young for seven years. Hemphill Wright & Associates was formed in November of 2015 as the result of the merger of Hemphill & Associates, Inc. with Wright and Associates, CPAs, Inc.
