Greetings! You understand now how Applied Faith can fuel your mind with determination. It also helps you move forward to your destination. It’s time to see Applied Faith in action.
Watch our video below or read the article underneath to understand more!
How did I achieve business success? Was I knowledgeable about everything?
Before I answer that question, allow me to return to my business travel. In the previous article, I discussed how Applied Faith facilitated my action. Even though I wasn’t yet at my goal, I was making preparations for the future. I used Applied Faith. Now, let me talk about the value of the people who helped me complete my trip. Particularly, how I placed my trust in the cab driver, pilot, flight crew, travel agents, and others.
My trip would have been impossible without their expertise. I could not have reached my destination without them. Would I have arrived at Cleveland without the expertise of the pilot and co-pilot? Was my trip itinerary made easier without leveraging the experience of my travel agents? Could I have reached the airport on time without the skills and experience of the cab driver?
The answer is no. But why did I have faith in them? I trusted that they had trained, studied, and worked within their professions. They possessed specialized knowledge that I did not.
Now, to go back to my questions earlier. I did not achieve business success alone. I acquired specialization in business from others. No person is an expert in all aspects of a business. Every successful entrepreneur out there needed help from others. That is one of the laws of success. And yes, I acquired a helping hand too. I needed staff, a junior auditor, and more experienced CPAs.
Why? It’s easy to get isolated in your business. Especially if you’re swamped with day-to-day tasks. You get stuck and exhausted. It will lead to a loss of self-confidence and a helpless feeling. To make things simpler, you can’t do everything.
I don’t expect you to know everything from the start. In my case, I don’t have all the specialized knowledge that my firm needs. But, one must understand how to gain this knowledge. At first, I studied it through various courses and seminars. I learned a lot, yet it was insufficient. That’s why I tapped into the skills of others. I leveraged their knowledge, education, and experience. It’s one of the principles of success.
I developed a list of the skills I don’t have but are necessary for my company. I then chose individuals who own those skills. I acquired a pool of talent and put my faith in them. This is the same as the scenario where I placed my trust in those professionals for my business travel.
I made sure that I hired or partnered with the right people. Knowing how to buy or rent knowledge is also a major factor in business success. Working with these experienced and educated individuals can pay untold dividends. It helped me learn the specialized knowledge required for my firm, which made me a great leader. Also, they served as my alliance that will focus on moving me forward towards my goals.
In the next article, you will learn more about the laws of success. I’ll be discussing the significance of forming a Mastermind group. This group is composed of experts in diverging areas that share a common goal – your success.
