Exceptional talent and great performance can lead to success. But have you ever considered the role of your mind in obtaining success? Taking training courses or studying for a Master’s Degree seems to be the obvious path. Sometimes, they are still insufficient to reach your goal. You must make the most out of your brain’s potential.
Overthinking prevents us from controlling our thoughts and emotions. We’ve all been there. During my business trip, I was wasting time worrying about insignificant things. I was having difficulty concentrating on my journey. As a result, I didn’t get to enjoy the entirety of my work vacation.
I was also worried and scared when I started my firm. I was overthinking things that had only brought me down. Before I learned to master my mind, the prevalent thoughts in my mind were, “These plans are sure to fail” or “I can’t make it.”
Napoleon Hill said every brain is a broadcasting station and a receiving set of thoughts. We live in a world that’s full of unending beliefs and ideas. Every great or terrible thing that has occurred in this world resulted from a single concept. A man’s ability to regulate his ideas determines his success or failure. We can then conceive our thoughts as the main component of our brain.
Yet, not all perceptions are equal. It might be powerful or weak. It all depends on the strength of the person who is creating it. A person who has applied faith to his thoughts can generate a powerful idea. A weak thought, on the flip side, comes together with fear and anxiety. Thus, it is crucial to learn how to master and control your brain’s intangible mental force.
You started your business with a desire (Part 1). It is your job to make your passion a powerful thought. Make it live until it succeeds. How? Grow it in the same way that you would a plant. You must water and feed them with high-quality fertilizer. Doing so will help them to grow into healthy plants. Thus, it needs your constant attention, interest, and enthusiasm. Your desire will soon obliterate without these.
Furthermore, thoughts have no force until they work together with feelings and emotions. I mentioned in the last chapter how crucial it is to keep negativity out of your system. Thoughts are intangible. No one, except yourself, has access to them. Only you can condition your mind to pick up only positive energy. Your thoughts should be your burning desire.
There’s this power of our mind that we can broadcast our thoughts to others without even saying a word about it. As you focus on your goals, your brain will broadcast this to people. Individuals who understand your strong desire will be able to recognize your ideas. This pertains to your mastermind group. As you gain mastery of your thinking, it will be easier to communicate your thoughts to them. Your brain will attract this group to help you achieve success.
You should understand that this doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time. It depends on how ambitious and sincere you are in achieving your goals. How much time and attention you devote to this discipline also matters. You can accomplish that powerful thought using patience, persistence, and hard work. This is your definite purpose.
Pay attention to your thoughts and reject unnecessary things. Allow only good, happy, and positive thoughts to enter your mind. Once you’ve done that, you may begin to manipulate and influence your reality.
You can have more control over your life when you learn how to control this intangible mental force. This secret comes from a simple concept: You are what you think. The following, and for the final installment, we will be talking about your sixth sense. This is your Sense of Intuition.
