The Wright Way to Build Your Accounting Firm Part Twelve – Trust Your Intuition

You’ve made it this far. I would like to congratulate and thank you for staying on the right track. This has been a long journey. I truly believe that you will succeed in your professional life.

Watch our video below or read the article underneath to understand more!

You’ve made it all the way to this final principle by working your way through the previous articles. This chapter will focus on your sixth sense. It’s important to understand the eleven concepts before this one. Doing so will enable you to assimilate, comprehend, and apply the 12th principle.

We perceive things using five different senses. These are the senses of sight, touch, hearing, smell, and taste. Our sixth sense is something we are unfamiliar with.

Have you ever had the feeling that someone is watching you and you turn around and see someone staring at you? Or have you ever had a gut feeling that something bad is going to happen? These are examples of your sixth sense at work. These are your hunches, gut feelings, instincts, premonitions, first impressions, suspicions, and intuition. It is the feeling of knowing when something seems correct and when it does not.

We’ve all had this experience. But most likely, you may have put it down to something else. That’s because we can’t connect it to our normal senses or logic. Entrepreneurs succeed because of their ability to trust their intuition. This chapter intends to educate you that intuition will also lead you to success.

During my business trip, I experienced the most unexpected encounter. Something came into my mind that was not even planned. I hadn’t been to Cleveland in a long time because I was already in Cebu. I had a strong desire to return to Cleveland’s key attractions. This unexpected inspiration that flashed into my head led me to follow and trust it. This last-minute decision of mine completed my business trip. I made new acquaintances and had a fantastic time. I’m certain I would not be happy with my entire vacation if I didn’t pay attention to this gut instinct of mine.

When I was still living in Cleveland, I was getting a strong sense of wanting to move to a different country. I would then start my firm there. This gut feeling led me to Cebu, Philippines. I heeded my instincts. Now, my firm is on the right course.

Can we rely on our sixth sense? It may be illogical for you to trust your instincts at first. When you pay attention to it, though, it is you who is trusting yourself. This is because your experiences, wisdom, and professional encounters shape these instincts. They also reinforce them to what they are now. They are not without foundation. You believe in your wealth of knowledge.

Is it effective in reaching success? Most entrepreneurs rely on their intuition to achieve success. It is important to realize that you can only trust your intuition if you are diligent and dedicated to it. You can’t trust your intuition unless you use your intellect. It doesn’t work that way. You need to give it serious consideration. Test it and examine the various possibilities. The more you probe and explore an idea, the better your intuition works.

You can use meditation to nurture and strengthen your sixth sense. It is the most well-known action that successful people do in their lives. It will provide you with focus and peace of mind, making it easier for you to analyze your intuition and make judgments. The more mindful you are, the better you will listen to your instincts.

“Our intuition is us making ourselves known. It is what we already know inside that is below our consciousness. So, our intuition is us telling ourselves something.” This is the reason I often follow my intuition. It helped me reach my full potential.

There will be times you will have a bad gut feeling. That is still your sixth sense warning you that you are on the wrong track. Trust your intuition if it stands on your vast experience and information. Exercise this power to the attainment of your burning desire. Listen to the powerful voice inside you. Remember that trusting your intuition is the ultimate act of trusting yourself.

Thank you for staying here until the end. I hope you are in possession now of all the principles to succeed. Don’t be hesitant to grasp opportunities. Always cast down discouragement. Don’t forget to keep your emotions under control. You have mastered your mind already. You can now use it with wisdom and discernment. Place your burning desire at the heart of everything.

PROSPER BY BELIEVING IN YOURSELF!
